I was saddened by the news of Gord's passing. My condolences go out to the Walker family. Gord was like an older brother to me. I had known Gord for about 30 years. Whether it was Curling, Co-ed volleyball, Rider football games, Slow pitch ball, it was the same, Gord had fun. His infectious smile, His generosity, His upbeat attitude, His kindness, His love for people. Gord left to soon, he left a void in my life, but the memories will last a lifetime. Gord will be sadly missed by all that knew him. When Gord met people it was "Howdy Folks" and when you left it was "Take Care". That is what my last words to a true friend. Take Care, Gord. Again my true heart sympathies go out to the Walker family.
