Condolence: I'm so very sorry to hear of Murray's passing.
Of the many, many friends and classmates I've had over the years I can certainly declare that the memory of Murray Hanson has endured. His courage and tenacity and imperishable spirit was without equal.
Particularly, I recall us playing a badminton match to determine who would represent Watrous at the School Unit tournament at Imperial. With his 15 pound leg brace attached and, I'm sure, just short of tearful because of the pain he (routinely) suffered he beat me and I can assure I gave no quarter. None. That said a great deal about the boy and probably said even more of the man he would become. There are few among us who can truly claim to be exemplary; Murray could.
