Del and Murray's family, so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. It was always comforting to see a light on in the cabin anytime of the year, 30 below or 30 above, when we would be passing by. Murray was always enjoyable to talk to. Fishing, hunting, or the lake, or just how it was going, we always had good conversations and memorable visits. Many times we would be hunting in our favorite, secret spots, only to run into each other, haha. Usually you would scare the heck out of me, while you were suspended 25 feet up in your tree sling, full camo of course. He will be dearly missed.
We will forever cherish our memories with Murray from Marean Lake. We will miss our friend and lake neighbour. Our condolences to Del and to Murray's family. May he rest in peace.
Del, Murray's family, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you on the passing of a great friend, father, life partner. Having been associated with Murray for the past 20 some years, myself as well as any who knew him are deeply saddened by his passing. His compassion for all that he did, whether is was an outdoor activity or working for an organization that was near and dear to his heart, will always be unsurpassed. The fish are always biting and the elk are always bugling!! Rest well my friend.
There are so many memories that one can share but the Bear watching while camping at Madge Lake is one of the most memorable. The kids were riding and sharing antics with Murray in his van while a few of the rest of us watched and laughed from my truck. He was always a great sport and made the most out of every opportunity. Murray, you will always be fondly remembered in our hearts as there were many good times to look back upon.
