Obituary for Donnamarie Dunk

Donnamarie Dunk, 65, of Imperial Saskatchewan, has been reunited with her mother and family in heaven after her sudden passing on July 20th, 2023. She was born to parents Nelson Gray and Elaine (Joyce) Gray on January 1st, 1958 in Georgetown Guyana.

Donnamarie immigrated to Toronto, Ontario at the age of 7 in 1965. She raised her family in Guelph, Ontario. She moved to Saskatchewan in December, 2022.

She was a strong leader in both her career and relationships. A woman of many talents and much knowledge, wisdom, and experience. Donnamarie endeavoured always for a deeper understanding of the world around her both seen and unseen. An eclectic individual who stood out in the crowd. She had a big personality, and good sense of humour. She loved to dance, paint, and crochet. 'Nana Time' with her grandchildren and family gatherings were essential to her, and she had a love of nature and spending time on the beach.

Donnamarie is survived by Gregory Montgomery, her fiance, and his family; Her children: Paul Dunk (Susan); Michelle Breukelman (Bernard); Alesha Webster (Joel); Natalie de Vries (Robert); Nelson Dunk (Kathy); Grandchildren: Rebecca Dunk; Isaiah Dunk; Nijel Dunk; Erin Breukelman; Denise Breukelman; Owen Breukelman; Tyson Webster; Jackson Webster; London Webster; Logan Webster; Sterling Webster; Travis de Vries; Gemma de Vries; Olive de Vries; James Dunk; Emma Dunk; Brother: Andre Gray; As well as many friends and extended family. She is preceded in death by her father: Nelson Gray (2001); mother: Joyce Gray (2019); brother Richard (1957) sister: Aloma Gray (2022).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests sending donations to the not for profit organization Donnamarie was working for and very passionate about prior to her passing; Bridges to Belonging.
