Anna Mae Conn passed away in her home in Saskatoon and will be forever missed by her family and friends. Anna Mae was born on the family farm hear Horizon, SK and developed a passion for reading early in her life that she retained for her 98 years. Riding ponies to the one-room rural school house was the norm for her and her brother in those early days. She graduated high school in Ogema, SK and went on to nursing school at Regina General Hospital. Her first nursing job took her to Shaunavon, SK where she met Lyle (Roy) Conn and they were married n 1948. Three children were born in Shaunvon and friendships developed there that carried on her entire life. Roy and Anna Mae moved to Radville, SK and then Watrous, SK with Roy’s work with the Saskatchewan Liquor Board. Anna Mae continued to nurse both in Radville and Watrous. They were both enthusiastic campers and travelled to many locations in western Canada, including annual trips to Penticton, BC to visit Roy’s brothers and parents. Anna Mae was an active member of the Watrous UCW and loved her flowers and yard in Watrous. Married for 63 years, Roy passed away 2011. Anna Mae is survived by daughters, Audrey and Ann (Rick) and son, Larry; three granddaughters, Erin (Gary), Kara (Jon), Kelsey (Carson) and five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Harrison, Ella, Everly, and Quinn. "Good night...Sleep Tight”. For those so wishing, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Watrous Community Health Foundation would be appreciated.
