April 9, 1926 – February 1, 2021

The death of Edna McGifford who has spent her life serving her Lord and Saviour, on February 1, 2021 entered the gates of heaven where she met Him face to face, when she was welcomed to her eternal home.

Edna Pearl (Musser) McGifford was born April 9, 1926 on NE18 TWP27 Range26 W2 Imperial, Saskatchewan. She was the third of four children born to John and Viola Musser. Edna took her schooling at Rouse School and completed her Grade 10. She lived on the farm with her family until her marriage to William McGifford, July 18, 1947. Mom and Dad took over her parents' farm. They raised two children, Melvin John, who still lives on the family farm and Brian William, who now resides in North Battleford.

Edna will be lovingly remembered by her sons Melvin (Delores) and Brian (Margaret); granddaughters Carrie (Braden) Bailey, Coralie (Larry) Spratt, Charlene (Aaron) Campbell, Heather, Tanya (Matthew) Kemp and Shauna; great-grandchildren Emma, Kaleb and Navia Bailey, Aaliyah, Robyn, Riley and Jaycee Spratt, Avery, Eldon and Harris Campbell, Adley and Eli Kemp; sister Evelyn Harding, numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.

Edna was predeceased by her parents John and Viola Musser, parents-in-law Hugh and Isabella McGifford, brother Harvey Musser, sister Ferne Durham, brothers-in-law George Harding and Bill Durham and great grandson Liam Kemp.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions – A Private Family Funeral Service was held in Bethel Pentecostal Church, Imperial, Saskatchewan on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Interment was in Imperial Cemetery.
