Obituary

LLOYD: Donald Robert 1941 – 2020
Don Lloyd, late of Arlington Beach, Sask. passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2020 at the age of 79 years surrounded by his family. He was a grateful member of AA for 53 years. He had Primary Progressive Aphasia that was very difficult for him.
Don was predeceased by his parents, Bert and Doris, half-brother Alfred and half-sisters
Anina and Peggy; and father-in-law John Fenton.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Lois, son Tyler (Joan), daughter Stephanie (Derek), sister Marie (Reg), and brothers Barry (Arlene), and Ed (Vicki) and sister-in- laws Bonnie, Jackie, and Darlene(Terry), and brother- in -laws Robert (Debbie) and Gordon (Shelley) and Harvey (Crystal); mother-in-law Kathy Fenton; and many special nephews and nieces as well as a lot of friends. Don was a generous, caring and supportive person. He loved to drive and drove in every state and province in North America. He has a good sense of humour, and enjoyed many years of hunting and fishing with his friends and family.
Don was a loving husband, father, a wonderful uncle and a great mentor to many.
He was always thinking of others so he did this and it was the greatest sacrifice for us.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private graveside service will be held at Govan Cemetery. Donations in Don's memory may be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan or a charity of your choice.
