June 10, 1938 - April 12, 2020
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of John Flowers of Last Mountain Pioneer Home, Strasbourg.
John was a dedicated husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, friend and neighbor.
From a young age, John developed a love of music and spent many years entertaining throughout different venues in Saskatchewan and the USA. He accompanied various bands of reknown artists and mastered the use of numerous instruments. He spent many hours visiting with family and friends relating his musical adventures.
In his working career, he was a manager in the food wholesale business and fostered friendships that lasted throughout the years.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, his son Douglas and Katia, his grandchildren Deborah, Nick and Daniel.
He is predeceased by his son Kenneth, his parents Matthew and Pauline, his sisters Ann Lindstrom and Marilyn Fortin as well as numerous in-laws and family members.
John and Kathy's home always warmly welcomed everyone who popped in to say "hi." You were always greeted with a friendly smile and the invite for a coffee or a meal and amusing anecdotes of his life adventures.
He will be dearly missed.
