1946 – 2019
The death of Leslie Walker, aged 73 years, of Imperial, SK occurred at Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility on Monday, October 14, 2019. Les will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Freda and his children, Jarret (Kelly) and Rhett (Rochelle). Les will also be fondly remembered by his five grandchildren Kendall, Brayden, Jaylen, Sebastian and Rhys, and his brothers, Jerry (Bev) and Blake (Sharon) and his sister-in-law Louise (Garth). Les was born and raised in Regina moving to Imperial in 1972 where he was a teacher for 30 years. Early in his career he taught physical education, played hockey and coached sports. Later, he taught grade 5/6. Les loved fishing, wildlife watching, golfing and working in the yard. A Private Family Service will be held in Imperial Cemetery on Thursday, October 17, 2019. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, 200 – 4545 Parliament Ave., Regina, SK S4W 0G3 would be appreciated.
