Obituary for
Gerald Robert "Jerry" Sinnamon
Sinnamon : Gerald Robert (Jerry) Sinnamon passed away at Royal University Hospital ICU in Saskatoon on Tuesday, October 24th, 2017 with his family at his side . A Come and Go Celebration of his life will be held in the Simpson Community Centre on Saturday, November 4th, 2017 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Jerry was born December 22, 1951 in Regina SK. He loved the outdoors, spending most of his years grain and cattle farming. Cattle was his favourite of the two, and routine checks of pastures and cows was a good excuse for a drive which he could do for hours. When time permitted he loved to fish or hunt, but in the last few years, just driving around to scout out a moose or elk sighting was his thrill. He would happily report on a regular basis that he had seen a cow moose and her calf or a NICE bull over on Edith‘s. He also enjoyed the banter and visits while making his coffee rounds to Sly’s, Leonard's, Peachwood, Watrous New Holland or the Simpson Hotel. He had a soft spot for a chocolate lab named Gracie, and would sneak a feed of one or two bananas whenever visiting in Melfort, much to her owners chagrin!
Jerry leaves behind his wife Wendy of 36 years, son Bryce, wife Kelly and daughter Lochlyn of Melfort SK, daughter Kelly and husband David Sather, daughters Natalie and Lexi of Saskatoon. He so loves his little girls! Jerry was predeceased by his parents Harry and Dorothy Sinnamon.
