LOW: Joan Marlene

The death of Joan Marlene Low, aged 76 years, of Watrous, SK occurred peacefully on Monday, August 1, 2017 at the Watrous District Health Complex. Joan moved to Watrous in 1959 and started her career in hair dressing working for Chuck and Blanche Mikulski. She also worked at Robinson’s Store, Watrous Pharmacy and Watrous Co-op. Joan was interested in many sports and was the pitcher for many years with the Watrous Spirits Ladies Fastball team. She was a great fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and enjoyed watching hockey on TV. She is survived by her sister Linda VanZandbergen, one niece and three nephews.
