It is with heavy hearts that the family of John Paul announce his passing at 5:45am on July 24th 2015 at the Watrous Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife of 49 years, Kathleen Paul and family. John was predeceased by his parents (James and Sarah), son (Daryl) and his five siblings. John is survived by his wife Kathleen, children Elaine (Doug), David (Norma), Theresa (Tony), Sheldon, Michael (Colina), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

John was born on December 2, 1934 in Portage la Prairie, MB. John spent his entire career in the trucking industry. He took pride in being a self-employed owner/operator for many of those years. John raised his family in BC, Alberta and primarily Regina, Sk. He retired in Watrous, Sk.

John had many interests, which included bowling, swimming, watching sports and wrestling, camping and fishing. John had a great love for animals, especially for his dogs, which were always by his side.

A prayer service will be held on Wednesday July 29th at 7pm at St. Ann's Parish, Watrous, SK. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday July 30th at 10:30am at St. Ann's Parish with the Interment to follow at the Watrous Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Watrous Hospital and St. Ann's Parish.
