Obituary for Hugh Walter Crittenden

Hugh Walter Crittenden
Crittenden, Hugh Walter
June 9, 1925 - June 9, 2015

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Hugh Crittenden on his 90th birthday. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Katherine Crittenden, and older brother Roy.

Hugh is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Mae), and his children and grandchildren: Lorri (Barry Ehman) and their children Mary (Drew) Kells, Dustin Ehman, and Kristen (Chris) Vanthuyne; son Larry and his children Jaezila, Jaiden, Delia (Bryan Axman), and Gwynneth (Jordan Miller); and son Wade (Camille) and their children Makenna and Carys. Hugh is also survived by his sister Marion (Arley) Jennett, numerous nieces and nephews, and six adoring great grandchildren: Nolan and Declan Kells, Kailee Dymond, Colson Ehman, and Taelyn and Finley Vanthuyne.

Hugh lived for his family. He loved nothing more than to spend time at the farm and to visit with his family and friends. He was an avid bowler, pool player and a regular at coffee row. He was also a tinkerer – Hugh’s favourite pastime was fixing antique clocks and pocket watches.

The family invites relatives and friends to a come and go memorial tea in the lower level of the Watrous United Church, Watrous, Saskatchewan on Saturday, June 20 from 1:30-3:30.
