Joyce (McPherson) Dahl
September 30, 1918 – October 13, 2018.
Joyce, age 100, passed away at Manitou Lodge in Watrous on Saturday, October 13, 2018. Joyce is survived by her daughter, Isabelle (Roger) Langston of Watrous; her son, Gordon (Judy) McPherson of Saskatoon; daughters-in-law, Phyllis (Alex) McPherson of Saskatoon; Elizabeth (Doug) McPherson of White City; her sister, Merle (John) Irvine (in a senior home in St. Brieux); surviving also are, thirteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and seventeen great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marie McPherson, Kelowna, BC; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her first husband, Donald McPherson, in 1980 and second husband, Albert Dahl, in 2003. She was predeceased by her three sons: Alex (Phyllis) McPherson, Doug (Elizabeth) McPherson, John McPherson and his wife Lynn; also predeceasing Joyce were her three sisters: Margaret (Manley Smith, George Hills), Clara (Clinton) Radke, Mertle (Ken) Ballard; and her parents Arthur and Lillian Hillcox. Interment will be on Thursday morning at the Naicam Cemetery. The Funeral Service will be held in the Watrous United Church, on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Karl Shin officiating. A Funeral Lunch will be served after the service. For those so wishing donations may be made to the Watrous United Church.
